MAKE A GIFT

As Duke Performances moves into its second decade, we need your support to sustain the program, keeping the work fresh, accessible, and forward-thinking.

Support Duke Performances
Your gift will support artist residencies

Artists who come to Duke Performances don’t just perform. Instead of a one-night tour stop, our artists are in residence for several days or weeks — making significant engagement with students, faculty, and community and offering context on their work and expert training on craft. Your gift allows us to provide critical resources to support artists-in-residence and allow more meaningful opportunities for our constituents to engage with these visiting artists.

Support Duke Performances
Your gift will support new work

Over the past decade, Duke Performances has commissioned, developed, and world-premiered more than 50 pieces of music, theater, and dance – incubated amongst our students, faculty, and community and premiered in our facilities — these works then toured the country and the world. Your gift allows us to expand, improve, and imbed the new works we commission.

Support Duke Performances
Your gift will support the arts in Durham

We are committed to offering performances both at Duke and in the city of Durham. With offerings in a dozen venues on campus and in town — as large as DPAC, as small as The Pinhook, and at numerous spaces across Duke’s campus — we create a platform for patrons at Duke and in Durham alike to learn from and enjoy the world’s best artists. Your gift allows us to bring a willfully eclectic mix of world-class artists to Durham — from string quartets at Baldwin to jazz at Durham Fruit & Produce and from vocal ensembles in the Chapel to hip-hop at Motorco.
