Imani Winds

Celebrating over two decades of musical trailblazing, Imani Winds remains dedicated to adding new, diverse voices to the wind quartet repertoire. For 2021/22, Imani rejoins Duke Performances as ensemble-in-residence, with a pair of exciting programs that bookend the season. During both visits, the ensemble will continue workshopping and recording new music by graduate students in Duke’s composition program, also making visits to Duke undergraduate classes, local public schools, and a number of Durham-based nonprofits and community organizations.
