& Alisdair Macindoe
January 30 - February 3, 2018
This February, award-winning Australian choreographer Antony Hamilton and multi-talented sound designer, instrument builder, and dancer Alisdair Macindoe bring MEETING, their new work of dance, to Duke’s Rubenstein Arts Center. Set to mechanical music generated at random by a computer algorithm, MEETING explores the intersection of industry and art, artificial intelligence and the human body. Hamilton and Macindoe’s residency at Duke will include engagements with the Duke Dance Program and the Pratt School of Engineering.
