& Alisdair Macindoe
January 30 - February 3, 2018
This February, award-winning Australian choreographer Antony Hamilton and multi-talented sound designer, instrument builder, and dancer Alisdair Macindoe bring Meeting, their new work of dance, to Duke’s Rubenstein Arts Center. Set to mechanical music generated at random by a computer algorithm, MEETING explores the intersection of industry and art, artificial intelligence and the human body. Hamilton and Macindoe’s three-day residency at Duke will include engagements with the Department of Dance and the Pratt School of Engineering.
