Moderated by former New York Times music critic Ben Ratliff, MONK@100 artists reflect on the substantial musical legacies of the late Geri Allen (who was slated to appear in MONK@100) and Thelonious Monk. Participants will include Kris Davis, Ethan Iverson, and Jason Moran.

Duke Performances will commemorate the centenary of jazz icon and North Carolina native Thelonious Monk through “MONK@100,” a ten-day event at the Durham Fruit & Produce Company, a 15,000-square-foot warehouse space for the arts in downtown Durham, from Tuesday, October 17 through Thursday, October 26.
