Nella Rojas got off to a blazing start when her debut Voy won Best New Artist at the 2019 Latin Grammys. The flamenco-driven title track was named one of the best songs of the year by the New York Times. “Me Llaman Nella,” the album’s coda, has been streamed on Spotify more than 3 million times, and the video has been watched on YouTube nearly 2 million times.

The Venezuelan-born singer also acted in the 2018 Asghar Farhadi film Everybody Knows and wrote several songs for the movie’s soundtrack, which she performed at the Cannes Film Festival that year.

The Berklee College of Music graduate issued last year her Sony Latin debut and highly-anticipated follow-up Doce Margaritas, which is highlighted by Rojas’ powerful voice and strong collaborations, such as “Volare” with singer-songwriter Pedro Capó. Rojas’ career may just be getting started, but her contributions so far have been nothing short of brilliant.
