Music in the Gardens: Rebekah Todd

Wednesday, June 7, 2023 | 7:00 pm

Sarah P. Duke Gardens

Rebekah Todd’s “Cosmic Soul Rock” is an eclectic blend of blues, folk, rock, and soul music guaranteed to get the 2023 Music in the Gardens series off to an unforgettable start. Based out of North Carolina, Todd and her band’s original sound and high-energy performances have earned the group a devoted and rapidly growing fan base. In the years since the Carolina Music Awards named Todd “Best Female Musician,” her music has become even more captivating. With the recent release of her third album, “Realign,” Todd’s soul-fused sound has grown richer with a psychedelic sheen and a new layer of lyrical depth and introspection.

Todd’s band includes the Josh Clark on bass, Paul Miller on keys, Tyrek Hearon on guitar, and Dru Cannady on drums.
