Duke Theater Studies chair and puppet artist Torry Bend sits down with members of Manual Cinema, the Emmy-winning shadow puppetry collective in residence at Duke Performances;  Donovan Zimmerman (Co-founder and Director, Paperhand Puppet Intervention); and Lisa Sturz (Founder and Artistic Director, Red Herring Puppets) for a wide-ranging conversation on the state of puppetry.

Manual Cinema will bring two shows to Duke this spring, beginning with Ada/Ava on Friday, February 8 and Saturday, February 9 in Duke’s Reynolds Theater. Tickets and info available HERE.
