Join acclaimed choreographer and Mark Morris alum John Heginbotham (Dance Heginbotham) for a dance class designed to benefit those with Parkinson’s disease. The class is offered in collaboration with American Dance Festival (ADF) as part of its new Parkinson’s Movement Initiative and assumes no formal training in dance. First-time participants welcome!
In Dance for PD® classes, participants are empowered to explore movement and music in ways that are refreshing, enjoyable, stimulating and creative. Evidence from 38 peer-reviewed scientific studies serves to underpin the effectiveness and benefits of the Dance for PD teaching practice. Learn more about the organization HERE.
