Situated on the lower level of Duke University’s Bryan Center on Duke’s West Campus, Sheafer is an intimate black-box laboratory theater with a flexible seating configuration that can accommodate up to 150 people. Duke Performances presents readings and workshop presentations of works in progress at Sheafer Lab Theater, as well as plays requiring an intimate setting. This is an accessible venue with restrooms on the same level as the theater; a box office is set up outside the theater before every performance.

- FROM CHAPEL HILL VIA HWY 15-501
- From the US-15/501 Bypass N take the Morreene Road Exit via Exit 108A.
- Turn right onto Morreene Road (You will pass the Millennium Hotel on your left).
- Continue straight through light at the intersection of Erwin Road and Towerview Drive/Morreene Road (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at this intersection).
- Take a left at the first light onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will be your second right.
- FROM RALEIGH, CARY AND POINTS EAST
- Via I-40 West: Merge onto 147 N via Exit 279B toward Durham/Downtown.
- From 147 N take the Fulton Street/Hillandale Road Exit 15B. Off the exit, bear left under the freeway.
- Turn right onto Erwin Road (the light directly in front of Duke Hospital North).
- At the third light turn left onto Towerview Drive (Morreene Road will be on your right).
- Turn left at the first light onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will be your second right.
- FROM GREENSBORO, BURLINGTON AND POINTS WEST
- Take I-85 North to Durham.
- Exit at Duke University 751 and go approximately 3-4 miles.
- Turn right onto 751. You will pass under 15-501 and pass Erwin Road.
- At the fourth light, turn left onto Science Drive (the Washington Duke Inn will be on your right).
- Go straight through one light (the intersection of Science Drive and Towerview Road).
- The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will be your second right.
- FROM POINTS NORTH VIA I-85
- Merge onto I-85 South
- Exit onto 15-501 S toward Chapel Hill.
- Take the Morreene Road exit via Exit 108A off of 15-501 S and turn left onto Morreene Road.
- Continue straight through the light at the intersection of Erwin Road and Towerview Drive/Morreene Road (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at this intersection).
- Turn left at the first light onto Science Drive.
- The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will be your second right.
- PARKING
- Parking is available in the parking garage Bryan Center Parking Deck (PG IV), located on Science Drive between Duke Chapel and the Bryan Center, for West Campus events. A special event parking fee of $5 will be charged by Duke Parking Office attendants upon entrance. Duke employees with valid parking permits can park free in the Bryan Center

- ACCESSIBILITY PARKING
- Reynolds accessible parking spaces are located in the Bryan Center Parking Lot and in Parking Garage IV.
- Automatic door openers with remote control capability are located at walkway and circle entrances.
- Accessible path of travel leading from parking lot to entrances facing Bryan Center Plaza and parking lot.
- Accessible elevators available to all levels. Reynolds Theatre is located on 100 level/upper level of the Bryan Center.
- Permanent assistive listening system installed. Receivers available in main ticket office.
