NASHER MUSEUM
The Nasher Museum of Art is a major center for the arts on campus and in the Research Triangle area, with leading-edge art exhibitions and dynamic programs, including Family Days, performing arts events, lectures, film series, and social gatherings. The museum is located on Duke University’s Central Campus, at the intersection of Duke University Road and Anderson Street, adjacent to the Sarah P. Duke Gardens. The street address is 2001 Campus Drive.
PARKING
For Nasher Museum, the museum’s 100-space public parking lot,
east of the building, is accessible from either Campus Drive or Duke
University Road. The parking fee is $2 per hour, with a maximum of
three hours. The winding path from the parking lot to the main entrance
is about 100 yards. Handicapped parking and entrance is available
at the Anderson Street entrance to the museum. For assistance

DIRECTIONS FROM RALEIGH
-Via I-40 West: Take exit 279B to N.C. State Route 147 North, Durham
Freeway.
-Continue on Durham Freeway and take Exit 14, Swift Avenue.
-Turn left onto Swift Avenue.
-Continue for about one half mile to Duke University Road.
-Turn right on Duke University Road.
-Immediately after Oregon Street, turn right into the museum parking
lot.
DIRECTIONS VIA I-85 NORTH (WEST OF DURHAM)
-This route is via Interstate 85 North: In Durham, take Exit 172,
N.C. State Route 147, Durham Freeway.
-Continue on Durham Freeway and take Exit 14, Swift Avenue.
-Turn right onto Swift Avenue.
-Continue for about one half mile to Duke University Road.
-Turn right on Duke University Road.
-Immediately after Oregon Street, turn right into the museum parking
lot.
DIRECTIONS VIA I-85 SOUTH
-Via Interstate 85 South: In Durham, take Exit 174A for US 15-501
South Bypass - Duke University/Chapel Hill.
-Continue on U.S. 15-501 and take Exit 107, marked N.C. State Route
751/Duke University West Campus.
-Turn left onto N.C. 751 and continue for about 1 mile.
-At the fourth traffic light, Duke University Road, turn left.
-Continue on Duke University Road for about 8/10th of a mile, cross
Anderson Street, and make a left turn into the museum parking lot.
DIRECTIONS FROM CHAPEL HILL
-This route is via Chapel Hill Boulevard, US. 15-501 North.
-In Durham, take U.S. 15-501 North, marked Duke University/Medical
Center (Do not take 15-501 Business).
-Continue on 15-501 and take Exit 107, marked N.C. State Route 751/Duke
University West Campus.
-Turn right onto N.C. 751, and continue for about 1 mile.
-At the third traffic light, Duke University Road, turn left.
-Continue on Duke University Road for about 8/10th of a mile, cross
Anderson Street, and make a left turn into the museum parking lot.
