Motorco Music Hall is a spacious 400+ capacity venue located in the Central Park district, and operates adjacent restaurant Parts & Labor, allowing guests to park, dine, and go to a concert in one location. Motorco is also within short walking distance of other restaurants and bars in Downtown Durham. Nearby landmarks include Manbites Dog Theater, the recently renovated Durham Athletic Park, and the Durham Farmer's Market.

Mateo Bar de Tapas is the first solo venture from owner/chef Matthew Kelly, housed in the old Book Exchange building in the heart of downtown Durham. Featuring a menu that blends the flavors of Spain with beloved ingredients and dishes of the South. Mateo offers a casual, yet refined, menu of Spanish small plates with a Southern inflection. Accompanying the food is a robust Spanish wine list as well as one of the largest sherry offerings in the country.
Toast, owned by Billy & Kelli Cotter, strives to follow he Italian tradition of simple cooking using seasonal local food while maintaining the shortest possible distance from the garden to the table. This exceptional sandwich and soup shop sources produce and cheese from local farmers, uses artisanal bread baked in downtown Durham, and house-cures their meats; in addition, they feature a superb selection of beer and wine by the glass. Order at the counter and eat either in their casual dining room or outside on the patio.
Pizzeria Toro owner/chef Gray Brooks serves superb brick-oven pizza and scintillating appetizers featuring locally-sourced ingredients — their kale salad is a low key, but delicious favorite. The menu also tastings of gourmet ham and handmade desserts. A bar off the main dining room serves exquisite cocktails, as well as a fine selection of beer and wine.
Crispy, Southern fried chicken meets deliciously sweet European decadence, in the form of fresh made Belgian waffles. Dame’s serves world-class, comfort food combinations in downtown Druham, chef Damion Moore's menue features fried chicken, golden brown waffles, collard greens and delicious mac n' cheese.
Dos Perros offers fresh and authentic Mexican cuisine, an extensive craft beer list, carefully chosen wines, and award-winning cocktails. Their house-made aguas frescas (watermelon, hibiscus, and more) are delicious by themselves or in several of their innovative cocktails. The dining room is warm, comfortable, and upscale without being stuffy.
Geer Street serves simple, down home food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Chef/owner Andy McGowan believes that everyday food should be wholesome and delicious. They have a large outdoor patio that's an ideal spot for a pint of beer and a local pasture raised burger. A sampling of their specials: arugula salad with fried oysters, asparagus ravioli with mint pesto, and fried NC flounder with braised artichoke hearts.
