Baldwin Auditorium

Baldwin Auditorium is located on Duke's East Campus at the intersection of Onslow Street and West Markham Avenue.

Baldwin is equipped with modern, comfortable seating throughout the hall; the capacity of the venue is 685. Wheelchair accessible seating is also available at all levels, including the balcony via elevator.

Directions 

From Chapel Hill via Hwy 15-501

-From the US-15/501 Bypass N merge onto 147 S via Exit 108B.

-Exit at Exit 14 - Swift Avenue and turn left off the exit.
-Continue on Swift Avenue as it turns into Broad Street (at Main Street). 
-At the first light after Main Street, turn right on West Markham.
-Baldwin is located at the intersection of West Markham and Onslow.  Parking lots are available along West Markham Avenue.

From Raleigh, Cary and points East

-Via I-40 West: Merge onto NC-147 N via Exit 279B toward Durham/Downtown.

-From 147 N take the Swift Avenue Exit (Exit 14), turn right onto Swift Avenue.
-Continue on Swift Avenue as it turns into Broad Street (at Main Street). 
-At the first light after Main Street, turn right on West Markham.
-Baldwin is located at the intersection of West Markham and Onslow.  Parking lots are available along West Markham Avenue.  

From Greensboro, Burlington and points West

-Take I-85 North to the Gregson Street Exit.

-The road merges into Gregson Street continue straight (You will pass Northgate Mall on your right).

-Continue on Gregson St. for 1-2 miles until you come to Markham Avenue.

-Turn right on to Markham Avenue and continue.  Baldwin Auditorium will be on your left, just after Buchanan Street. 
-Baldwin is located at the intersection of West Markham and Onslow.  Parking lots are available along West Markham Avenue.

From points North via I-85

-Merge onto I-85 S

-Take exit 176 for US-501 N/Duke St toward Gregson St/Northgate

-Turn left at N Duke St

-Keep left to Continue onto N Gregson St
-Turn right onto West Markham.  Baldwin Auditorium will be on your left, just after Buchanan Street.
-Baldwin is located at the intersection of West Markham and Onslow.  Parking lots are available along West Markham Avenue.

Parking

Duke Parking and Transportation will administer parking for patrons visiting Baldwin Auditorium. Parking for events is $5 per car — cash only.

Bivins/Biddle lots provide principle parking for Baldwin Auditorium. These lots are accessible via the campus entrance located at the intersection of West Markham Avenue and Sedgefield Street.

Brown/Bishops lot accessible via the campus entrance located at the intersection of North Buchanan Boulevard and Dacian Avenue, as well as the Asbury Church lot located at the intersection of West Markham Avenue and Sedgefield Street provide additional parking for Baldwin Auditorium. Neither Brown/Bishops or the Asbury Church lots will be staffed for performances, but both are available for Baldwin patrons at no charge.
