• Sacred Steel: A Conversation & Demonstration with The Campbell Brothers •
In town to perform at the Bull Durham Blues Festival, National Heritage Fellow Chuck Campbell and The Campbell Brothers join moderator and long-time roots music radio DJ and recording engineer, Dave Tilley, in a conversation about the sacred steel guitar tradition and its origins in the House of God Church, interspersed with a live demonstration by this Rochester, NY-based family band.

• A Love Supreme: A Conversation with Ashley Kahn & Branford Marsalis •
Durham-based, GRAMMY-winning saxophonist, composer, and bandleader Branford Marsalis joins Ashley Kahn, jazz scholar and author of A Love Supreme: The Story of John Coltrane’s Signature Album, in a discussion of the making and influence of Coltrane’s seminal album, a half-century after its recording. Marsalis recorded an acclaimed version of A Love Supreme with his quartet in 2004.
